Coming 28 March 2012, 9am, Pantai Hospital Batu Pahat (PHBP)’s Emergency Rescue Team (ERT) in collaboration with Bomba & Penyelamat, Daerah Batu Pahat will declare ‘Code Orange’ – Rescue & Evacuationto to ensure the stimulated crisis will be managed efficiently and effectively at the hospital. Patients, visitors and staff will be evacuated to a designated assembly point.
The ERT team, headed by our Chief Operations Officer, En. Mohd Shafee Awang, will have to safeguard our patients and employees by providing sufficient training and education to emergency situation and to respond promptly under such constrain.
‘The objective of these activities is to create awareness on safety of fire hazards and other environmental disaster. We will coordinate programs in relation to fire prevention and safety during crisis in our hospital from time to time’, he says.
