Rooms
Pantai Hospital Ipoh has a range of room types, to cater to individual needs and demands. All the rooms are air-conditioned with individual temperature control, complete with attached bathrooms. All rooms are equipped with an interactive nurse call system that enables two-way communication, between patient and nurse. There are different room types to suit individual preference. However these are subject to availability and if a particular room type is not available, options will be provided, and efforts will be made to have the requested room type provided as soon as it is available.

Admissions
Admission to the Hospital can be done through:
• The Emergency Department, or
• Through your Specialist
Deposits
Prior to admission, a deposit (cash / credit card / charge card) is required. Alternatively, a Letter of Guarantee from your employer is also accepted by the Hospital, provided we are an appointed panel provider of your employer, insurer or third party administrator.

Valuables & Personal Items
Patients are reminded and advised NOT to keep large sums of money, hand phones, jewellery and other valuables during their stay, as Pantai Hospital Ipoh cannot guarantee the security of valuables. Patients are also requested to bring along their own attire, towels and toiletries for their own use, during hospitalization.
Visiting Hours
Visitors are allowed every day from 11.00am – 2.30pm, and from 4.30pm – 9.00pm. Children below 12 years of age are not encouraged to visit the hospital, to prevent the possible spread of infection to them. Visitors are strongly encouraged to adhere to the visiting hours, and limit their stay during the visit, to ensure that the patient receives the rest necessary for a faster recovery.
Discharge
Once your doctor has indicated that you are fit to be discharged, you will receive a Discharge Slip from the Ward Sister or Clerk, after which, all bills will need to be settled. Please allow adequate time for your bills to be finalized: Cash / Credit Card payments may take an hour, and insurance claims may take up to two hours or more
Check Out Time
Hospital check-out time is 12.00 noon. A half-day room rate will be charged if you leave the hospital after 12.00 noon. A full day room rate will be imposed if you are discharged after 5.00pm.
