Breast Care Centre

The Breast Care Centre in Pantai Hospital Klang was established in August  2011, first of its kind   among   the  private healthcare  services provider in Klang  to provide support to  breast cancer patients, survivors  and risks groups. The Centre acts as resource centre  that provides information on prevention, diagnosis and treatment  for breast-related diseases. The centre provides education on early detection of breast-related  diseases through advice and guidance on Breast Self Examination and other diagnostic imaging services.

The centre also offers counselling (both by trained  breast care nurses and lay peer group counselors) which is arranged before , during and after treatment.

The centre has clear aims to address all facets of breast-related disorder and how it affects the society from cancer awareness and education , screening and detection, treatment and care to post treatment support for breast cancer survivors.
