CSR also plays a critical role in Pantai’s success in the past and Pantai will continue to do its part to reach out and care for the communities its serves..
Besides caring for our patients, Pantai’s contributions and CSR initiatives is also our way of giving back to the nation.

PANTAI HOSPITAL KUALA LUMPUR ORGANISES HEALTH CAMP AT SUNGAI BESAR – 8TH JULY 2012
Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur in collaboration with Persatuan Keturunan Han Kang Daerah Sabak Bernam organised a free health camp for the community of Sungai Besar, Selangor. This event was graced by YB Dato’ Hajah Noriah Kasnon, Deputy Minister of Energy, Green Technology and Water cum Member of Parliament of Sungai Besar.
PHKL provided free health screening consists of glucose and cholesterol tests, dietary counselling, clinical breast examination and breast self examination

PHKL NURSES VISIT TO ‘PERSATUAN ANAK YATIM & IBU TUNGGAL KG.MEDAN’

In conjunction with Nurses day, money collected from the Nurses day funds were donated to a local charity organization; Persaturan Anak Yatim dan Ibu Tunggal Kampung Medan. The funds collected is an initiative by PHKL’s very own nurses. Each year the nurses donate funds to local charity organization as well as spend time chatting and getting to know the tenants from the homes.

SEKINCHAN HEALTHCAMP

Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur in collaboration with Wanita & Pemuda MCA, Bahagian Sungai Besar organized a free health camp for the community of Sekinchan, Selangor. The event was officiated by Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Donald Lim Siang Chai; Vice President of MCA.
Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur (PHKL) provided FREE health screenings and dietary counselling sessions. There were also FREE clinical breast examinations conducted by Consultant Breast Surgeons; Dr. Patricia Gomez, Dr. Azlina Firzah and Dr. M. Devanand. The PHKL Breast Care Team conducted breast self examination demonstration, while the PHKL Dietary team conducted counselling.
There were health talks by PHKL consultants; Dr. Ng Wai Kiat; Consultant Cardialogist, followed by Dr Tan Lye Suan; Consultant Ear, Nose & Throat Surgeon and Dr. John Low Seng Hooi; Consultant Oncologist. All talks were in Mandarin and Hokkien.

SUNGAI BESAR HEALTHCAMP
13th April 2009
Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur organized a free health camp for the community of Sungai Besar, Selangor. The health camp held at Wisma PPK, is to create health awareness. At the health camp, citizens of Sungai Besar were provided with free basic health check-up, which included blood test for glucose and cholesterol, dietary counselling and blood pressure.
All tests and counselling were conducted by PHKL trained medical team. Breast Self Examination demonstrations were also conducted by the PHKL Breast Care Team.
At the health camp medical conditions such as stuffy nose, cancer prevention and stroke were discussed by medical specialists.

WEAR IT PINK 2009

Wear it Pink is a campaign that has been implemented by Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur (PHKL) to fight breast cancer. This is part of PHKL efforts in raising awareness towards breast cancer. PHKL has been supporting the Ministry of Health’s initiative in lowering the incidences of breast cancer.
Aims to educate women on Breast Self Examination (BSE) methods and the importance of Clinical Breast Examination (CBE).Aims to educate empower and encourage women to do regular screenings like mammograms and ultra sounds. To raise awareness on breast cancer, among the general population.
