EXPERIENCE

Effective 1^st February, 2012 Madam Tan Suet Guan the Regional Chief Executive Officer (Central Region) has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer (Ad Interim) for Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur.

She joined Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur in 1988, and was seconded and involved in the commissioning of Normah Medical Centre, Sarawak.

Prior to joining Pantai Hospital Cheras in the year 1994 as Accounts Manager, she was with Institut Jantung Negara (IJN). She was also a project team member that was responsible for the setting up of Pantai Hospital Ampang in year 2002.

She was promoted to the post of Chief Executive Officer of Pantai Hospital Cheras in January 2003 and transferred to Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur, our flagship hospital as Deputy Chief Executive Officer in September 2005 till May 2006, while also being the Chief Executive Officer of Pantai Hospital Ampang from 1^st September 2006 till April 2007.

She assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer of Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur in May 2007.

In April, 2011 she was promoted to Regional Chief Executive Officer (Central Region) overseeing the operations of Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Pantai Hospital Ampang, Pantai Hospital Cheras and Pantai Hospital Klang.

EXPERIENCE

Mr Stanley Lam started his career with the Pantai Group of Hospitals in 2003 as an Accountant at Pantai Hospital Cheras.

In 2005, he was promoted to Finance Manager at Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur. His hard work, dedication and commitment were recognized and he was promoted to Senior Finance Manager.

In February 2008, he joined Pantai Hospital Klang as Chief Executive Officer.

Given his impressive achievements and proven track record over the years, in February, 2012 he was given the opportunity to helm Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur; the flagship hospital within the Pantai Group of Hospitals as Deputy Chief Executive Officer. His strong finance and management capabilities and his sound knowledge of Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur’s business structure, will be an asset to the hospital.

Mr. Stanley Lam is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) registered with Malaysia Institute of Accountants (MIA), a Fellowship Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and an Associate Member of the Malaysia Association of the Institute of Chartered Secretary & Administrators (MAICSA).

EXPERIENCE

Datuk Dr N. Arumugam is a senior Consultant Physician and Cardiologist at Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur. He joined Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur in 1989 and has helped to develop the cardiology department in the hospital.

He did his post-graduate training in Medicine and International Cardiology in the United Kingdom before joining Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur.

Datuk Dr N. Arumugam is a representative in many medical and cardiology associations and has been actively involved in the advances of sustainable healthcare development in the country.

Datin Punithavathy Navaratnam

EXPERIENCE

Datin Punithavathy did her nursing course in the UK, after which she continued with her midwife training. She completed her training by specializing in NICU in Sheffield in 1979 and was employed for 5 years as a Nursing Sister in NICU, before returning to Malaysia in 1983.

Datin Punithavathy commenced as a Staff Nurse at Pantai Hospital Klang, then joined Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur in 1986.She was promoted to the position of Nursing Sister (NICU) in 1996. She obtained her Bachelor Of Nursing in 2001.

In April 2005, Datin Puni was promoted to the post of Nursing Officer at Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Bangsar. Datin Puni took on the post of Chief Nursing Officer in January 2009.
