Pantai Hospital Batu Pahat’s Accident & Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day and well-equipped to handle any injury or medical emergency, round-the-clock every day. At the A&E, the dedicated team of doctors and nurses are specially trained for emergency situations. They will evaluate the situation immediately using the triage method. The most severe cases with life-threatening conditions will be our topmost priority, while the rest may need a 30-minute wait, depending on the number of patients at the A&E.
In addition to having a team of emergency specialists assessing and managing your case, a multidisciplinary team of specialists and surgeons are also on call to attend to complex medical conditions.
The triage system is used to sort patients into categories so those with urgent medical needs get help first. The assessment is based on how sick a patient is upon arrival at the emergency.
An overview of three category triage acuity systems;
Immediately life or limb threatening
Continuous
Cardiopulmonary arrest,serve respiratory distress, major burns, major trauma, massive uncontrolled bledding Coma, status epil...
Requires prompt care, but will not cause loss of life or limb if left untreated for several hours.
Every 30 minutes
Abominal pain, non cardiac cp, multiple fractures, lacerations, renal calculi
And treatment but time is not a critical factor
Every 1-2 hrs
Rash, chronic headche, sprains, cold sysmptoms

The medical specialists are on call for 24 hours.
If you have a preferred specialist at our hospital, you can inform the admissions counter that you wish to follow up with him or her.
We accept various modes of payment including cash and major credit cards at our hospitals. For the convenience of international patients, we also accept major foreign currencies.
If you’re paying via insurance, whether it’s a personal accident plan, comprehensive hospitalisation plan or travel insurance that covers your expenses at the A&E, here are the documents needed:

 | Itemised hospital bills/detailed bills |
 | Any diagnostic reports (blood test, coronary angiogram, X-ray, etc.) |
 | For overseas treatment: passport copies, boarding pass, flight ticket details, original itemised bill (and English translation, if necessary) |
If you are admitted at our hospital after a visit to the A&E, please check at the admissions counter if your insurance coverage is eligible for direct billing or the cashless service.
