Our therapeutic radiology services

Once your condition has been diagnosed, you may be referred back to our radiology centres for treatment. Here, we use our imaging technology to assist in drainage procedures or interventional procedures like angioplasty and stenting, as well as yttrium therapy.

Multi-Slice CT scanner

Normally used to diagnose tumours, investigate internal bleeding or check for other internal injuries or damage. It analyses your heart and coronary arteries for heart attack detection and prevention. CT Scans are especially helpful in detection for early stroke or cancer.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) is an examination which does not involve radiation. It uses strong magnetic field and radio waves to produce images of your body.  It is a non-invasive and particularly useful in scans of the brain and spinal column, as well as the musculoskeletal system. MRI do helps in examining includes:

Mammography

A mammogram is used to detect breast abnormalities in women experiencing symptoms such as a lump, pain or nipple discharge. It is an important screening tool for the detection of early breast cancer. Women above the age of 40 are encouraged to get a mammogram every year as this test can discover a lump up to 2 years before it can be felt.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound is a type of imaging that uses high-frequency sound waves to capture images of organs and structures inside the body. Healthcare professionals use it to view the heart, blood vessels, kidneys, liver, and other organs. During pregnancy, doctors use ultrasound to view the foetus.

General X-ray

This is the most commonly performed type of diagnostic examination and it is the fastest and easiest way to view and assess broken bones, joints, skulls or spinal injuries.
