Pantai Hospital Melaka is located just 5km from the Ayer Keroh toll interchange in the historical city of Malacca. This 229-bed hospital houses more than 80 medical specialists and an extensive list of medical services and specialties including dental services, a cancer centre, cardiac catheterisation lab, heart surgery, haemodialysis and emergency department.

Dr Kevin Khoo

Chief Executive Officer,

Pantai Hospital Melaka

Dr Kevin Khoo is the Chief Executive Officer of Pantai Hospital Melaka. He brings broad experience across clinical practice, hospital operations and healthcare management.

Dr Kevin holds an MBBS from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom, and is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MRCSEd). He is currently pursuing an MBA with Open University Malaysia.

Dr Khoo began his career as a Captain (Medical Officer) in the Royal Army Medical Corps of the British Territorial Army before moving into hospital leadership roles. He has led initiatives to strengthen clinical services, expand insurance partnerships and enhance operational efficiency. His focus on talent development, cost management and community engagement has supported steady growth and improved performance.

He maintains a strong emphasis on governance and stakeholder alignment, ensuring that operational strategies are consistent with long-term institutional goals and healthcare industry best practices.
