Dysuria, back ache, spotting, period cramps and blood clots with greenish/yellowish discharge
The is regarding my wife's condition. She has been having severe UTI symptoms for almost a year. Some diagnosed as complicated UTI and cystitis. While her vaginal discharge issue has yet to be diagnosed clearly from what source. Dr from clinics have not been able to tackle it after already trying multiple antibiotics and remedies(already taken Unasyn, Cephalexin, Fosfomycin, tried multi gyn vaginal cream, fluomizin pessaries). Multiple swab results and urine C&S from clinics shown heavy growth. But currently we're following up HPUPM (HSAAS) and they denied any results from the tests even after my wife went through a painful speculum session for high vaginal swab. However her condition keeps on worsening, now she's having all the UTI symptoms including feverish feeling on and off, with period cramps like symptoms even 2 weeks before her menstrual cycle starts, along with greenish and yellowish discharge with comes with dark chunks or blood clots when it's near to the menstrual cycle.  HSAAS has suggested Cystistat for the urinary problems. Please advice what to do further.

Answer:
I'm sorry to hear about your wife's ongoing UTI symptoms and vaginal discharge issue. It's important that she receives proper medical attention to address these concerns. Here are some steps she can take:

1. **Seek Medical Help**: I recommend scheduling an appointment with a healthcare provider, such as a gynecologist or urologist, who can provide a thorough evaluation and determine the underlying cause of her symptoms.

2. **Treatment for UTI**: Depending on the severity and type of UTI, your wife may need antibiotics to clear the infection. Be sure to follow the healthcare provider's instructions regarding dosage and duration of treatment.

3. **Management of Cystitis**: For cystitis, it's important to avoid irritants such as caffeine, spicy foods, and alcohol, as they can exacerbate symptoms. Drinking plenty of water can also help to flush out bacteria.

4. **Vaginal Discharge**: The type and color of vaginal discharge can provide clues about the cause. Your wife may need further testing to determine if it's due to a yeast infection, bacterial vaginosis, or another underlying issue.

5. **Good Hygiene Practices**: Encourage your wife to practice good hygiene, such as wearing cotton underwear, avoiding scented products in the genital area, and wiping from front to back after using the restroom.

6. **Follow-up**: It's important for your wife to follow up with her healthcare provider for any further testing or treatment needed. If the symptoms persist or worsen, she should seek medical attention promptly.
