Elderly with bow (o shaped) legs
71 male with chronic bow leg, now with severe leg pain that limit his mobility. May I know is there any way to treat or improve his condition?

Chronic bow leg can be of several types that need physical assessment and thorough investigation. If we noticed that there is deformity, several surgical options can employed either we correct it gradually using ilizarof frame or hexapod frame or we can do fast correction if the severity is mild and no dangerous structures involved. It has to be informed that the cost of deformity correction is quite high and the duration of follow up is long. So it is imperative that the indications of doing it are clear and the patient himself is really motivated to comply with the process
