We understand your concern regarding the treatment plan and the duration between your appointments. Based on the information provided, the treatment prescribed by your doctor (Timoptol XE and Nevanac) seems appropriate for managing the condition of an eye stroke (also known as retinal artery occlusion or retinal vein occlusion, depending on the specific diagnosis). The follow-up appointments, including the CT scan on the 17th of February and subsequent visits, are essential for closely monitoring your recovery and ensuring no further complications.
Regarding the urgency of treatment, it is important to note that recovery from an eye stroke can vary depending on the severity and the specific condition. The doctor’s plan to observe and manage your condition with regular follow-ups is considered a standard protocol for your diagnosis. However, if you feel your symptoms are worsening or if you have concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out for a review or additional consultations.
As for the coverage under your Etiqa medical card, we recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to confirm the details of your coverage. They will be able to provide specific information regarding the reimbursement for your treatment, medications, and diagnostic tests. Our hospital can provide you with any necessary medical documents or receipts to assist with your claim.
