Initial Diagnose as "prurigo nodularis"
I have skin problem for over 3 years, there are some nodule spots which terrifically itch and could cause a bump red once I scratch using my hand. I did some blood test, the result shown as some ESR in high rate, the leukocytes has reached 42.2uL. Kindly advice me whether I should do a follow up checking with internist specialist or others specialist?

Answer:

Based on the information you've shared, it would be advisable to follow up with a specialist who can further investigate your condition. We recommend consulting with either a Rheumatologist or a Hematologist for a more comprehensive evaluation. These specialists can help diagnose any underlying inflammatory or systemic issues that may be contributing to your symptoms, especially in light of your elevated ESR and leukocyte levels.

Rheumatologist would be well-suited to assess any autoimmune or inflammatory conditions that may be causing your skin issues, while a Hematologist can evaluate your blood results and look for any hematological conditions that could be affecting your health.
