Lipoma
I have what I suspect to be lipoma but I am not 100% sure. It seems to be soft, slightly movable, and located just right below my skin layer of my right butt cheek, the area that would be in contact with the chair. When it first appeared, it was slightly painful whenever I sit, but since then there has been zero pain, and the lump has stayed the same. Although for a short time the lump went away, but then it came back now. I would like a consultation and testing if necessary.

Answer:

Dear Sir/Madam,

We extend our sincere gratitude for choosing Pantai Hospital Malaysia for your healthcare requirements.

Based on your description, we understand your concern about the lump you have noticed. While it may be consistent with a benign condition such as a lipoma, it is important to have a proper clinical evaluation to determine its exact nature.

We would recommend that you schedule a consultation with one of our doctors for a thorough physical examination. During the visit, the doctor will assess the lump and, if necessary, may advise further investigations such as imaging or other diagnostic tests to ensure an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management.
