Pain and Itchiness around genital area
Im having trouble these days because of the infection around my genital area.I am confuse if it is a yeast infection or not but all i know is that i wanted it treated. My skin around my vagina has been very sensitive for a long time now. It's very very itchy to the point I can't even sleep peacefully without unconsciously scratching it. When I wake up , often there's a fresh blood and very smelly discharge on my underwear. The areas that are often very itchy for me is around the labia and inner thighs. Usually when I sweat , it become uncomfortably itchy. I don't know if it has anything to do cyst too because I had my cyst removal a year ago , during my healing process , I have less discharge and my vagina was less irritating and itchy.I tried many things throughout the years to soothe the pain like Vaseline , lotion and oil but none of it work. Is there any tips to treat it? If it's possible to tell any cream or medication that could treat it would be great too! Thank you ^^

Answer:
It's important to note If you suspect you have a yeast infection or another type of infection in your genital area, it's best to see a healthcare provider for an accurate diagnosis. Some common symptoms of a yeast infection include itching, burning, redness, and a white, cottage cheese-like discharge. However, other infections like bacterial vaginosis or sexually transmitted infections (STIs) could have similar symptoms. In the meantime, you can try over-the-counter antifungal creams or suppositories specifically designed for yeast infections. It's important to follow the product instructions carefully. Keeping the area clean and dry, wearing loose-fitting clothing, and avoiding scented products in that area can also help. However, if your symptoms persist or worsen, it's crucial to seek medical attention. Your healthcare provider can provide a proper diagnosis and recommend the best course of treatment for your specific condition.
