SIBO & Autoimmune Issues
I’m considering whether a SIBO test would be appropriate for me. I’ve been dealing with chronic digestive issues, mainly constipation and bloating, and I also have inverse psoriasis and alopecia areata. I’ve tested negative for H. pylori. I’ve read that gut imbalances like SIBO can contribute to systemic inflammation and skin conditions. Would you recommend testing for SIBO in my case?

Dear Sir/Madam,

Based on the symptoms you’ve described, including chronic digestive issues, bloating, constipation, and your history of inverse psoriasis and alopecia areata, it is indeed possible that an underlying gut imbalance, such as Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO), could be contributing to your condition.

However, we recommend that you schedule a consultation with one of our experienced gastroenterologists, who can assess your symptoms in greater detail and guide you on the appropriate diagnostic tests for your situation. The gastroenterologist will be able to evaluate whether SIBO or any other condition is a potential factor and advise on the best course of action.

Our consultation fees range from RM 200 to RM 400 per session, depending on the complexity of the consultation.
