Answer:
We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing pain due to using the wrong shampoo and over-cleaning your scalp. Here are some steps you can take to alleviate the discomfort:

1. **Stop using the shampoo immediately:** Discontinue using the shampoo that caused the pain and irritation to prevent further aggravating your scalp.

2. **Rinse with cool water:** Gently rinse your scalp with cool water to help soothe the irritation and remove any residual shampoo.

3. **Apply a soothing agent:** You can apply aloe vera gel or a cool compress to the affected area to help reduce inflammation and relieve the pain.

4. **Avoid further irritants:** Try to limit exposure to other potential irritants such as harsh chemicals or excessive heat until your scalp has healed.

5. **Consult a dermatologist if necessary:** If the pain and irritation persist or if you notice any signs of infection such as redness, swelling, or pus, it's important to consult a dermatologist for further evaluation and treatment.

Remember to be gentle with your scalp during this time to allow it to heal properly. If the pain persists or worsens, seek medical attention promptly.
