I've been experiencing recurring tongue ulcers on and off, and I've noticed they often appear just before my menstrual cycle. This pattern started after I had COVID, and I'm not sure if it's related. I wanted to ask for your advice or any insights into what might be causing this.
Hi, there may be many reasons for you experiencing recurrent tongue ulceration .
But I would advise you to get seen by a specialist in oral care. From what you are describing it is more likely to be related to hormonal imbalance . But I will still recommend you see a specialist in oral health care.
Avoid spicy diet , sauces, pickles & food containing preservatives.
Do not use any alcohol containing alcohol & I would suggest warm saline with 2-3 teaspoons of salt & use it as a mouthwash . Do it 2-3 times a day .
I would be more comfortable to prescribe medication after your consultation.
