Would like an MRI scan for 26 month old boy
My 26 month old boy has been really poorly, he had seizures at birth but none since. Over the last 10 days he has been really poorly, and getting them again. NHS in the UK won’t do anything and we have been to hospital 4 different times.Would it be possible to have an MRI if we fly to Malaysia?

Answer:

Dear Sir/Madam,

We extend our sincere gratitude for choosing Pantai Hospital Malaysia for your healthcare requirements.

We’re truly sorry to hear about what your family has been going through, and we understand how distressing it must be.

Please be assured that we do have specialist doctors available who are experienced in managing paediatric neurological cases such as seizures. It is strongly recommended to consult the doctor first, as this will allow a thorough clinical assessment and determine whether an MRI or any further investigations are necessary.

Once the doctor has assessed your child, we will be able to advise you on the most appropriate course of action, including imaging, treatment options, and follow-up care.
